	RIO NEGRO TOURS Tours upstream the Rio Negro will usually take 1 to 10 days and may include the Anavilhanas Archipel (group of islands in the river), Novo Airao (famous for its beaches and dophins) and Jau National Park (rich in fauna, flora and wildlife).   Visitors may see thousands of animal species including armadillos, dolphins, spider monkeys, boa constrictors, sloths, jaguars, jacares, caiman, aligators, plus an extensive array of birds and butterflies.
Mamori Lake Lodge	MAMORI LAKE An advendure trip to the region of Lake Mamori (connected with the Solimoes river) is ideal for travellers who wish to have a close contact with nature. On this expedition to the prime forest, you explore the rivers, Igarapes and Igapos (creeks), native houses, fauna and flora, with overnights in lodges and jungle camps.   On the way to Mamori Lake you will pass the meeting of the waters (Rio Negro and Solimoes), and then be transfered by van and canoe to the lodge.   Activities include canoerides, fishing, spotting of aligators, overnight stays in the jungle, sunrise tours, birdwathing and jungle hikes with explanation of medical plants and fruits. Special jungle treks include looking for ¨tarantulas¨and snakes (sucuri or jiboia) and admiring the giant ¨¨Sumaumeira¨ tree, which has been used as a kind of communication by the natives.   Native families will show you their way of life and mandioc process. During your stay you will observe sloths, squerel monkeys, and animal-lazy and swim with the dolphins.
